Hiland Heaters LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company at 679 West Alta Rd, Alta, WY 83414. We rent 380,000 BTU indirect-fired construction heaters to contractors and homeowners in Jackson Hole and Teton Valley. Hiland Heat™ is our rental service. This website exists so you can check rates, book a heater, request the Winter Plan, and contact us.

What We Collect and Why

We only collect information you type into our forms or that your browser sends automatically.

Information You Give Us

• Booking requests (Book a Heater form): number of heaters, dates or months, add-ons, job address, delivery notes, your name, company, phone, and email. We use it to confirm availability, quote the job, deliver, service, and pick up the equipment, and to bill you.
• Winter Plan requests: the same details plus the season you want covered, so we can reserve a unit and schedule delivery.
• Contact form: your name, phone, email, and message, so we can answer you.
• Phone calls and texts: your number and what you tell us, so we can help with a booking or a heater that is down.

Information Collected Automatically

Our web host and WordPress record standard server logs: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and time of request. We use these to keep the site running, secure, and available. Form submissions also record the IP address and time of submission to help us block spam.

Payment Information

Online payments are processed by Square (Block, Inc.). Card details are entered into Square’s secure payment fields and go directly to Square; we never see or store your full card number. Square handles your payment data under its own privacy policy. We keep order records, including what you rented, the delivery address, and the amount paid, to run our business and meet tax requirements.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the people and services needed to run the business:

• Our team and delivery crew, so they can deliver, service, and pick up your heater.
• Service providers that host this website, store form entries, and deliver our email. Form entries are stored in our website’s database and emailed to our office.
• Law enforcement or courts when required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Cookies and Analytics

The site sets only the cookies WordPress needs to function, such as a cookie that remembers a form you started or a comment you left. If we add a website analytics service, it may set its own cookies to measure traffic in aggregate; we would use that data only to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

We do not run advertising or remarketing on this site, and we do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because we do not track you across other websites.

How Long We Keep It

Booking and contact records are kept for as long as needed to complete the rental, resolve any billing or damage questions, and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations, generally up to seven years. Server logs are kept for a short period for security. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see your choices below.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form entries are stored on a password-protected website account with access limited to our staff. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

Children

This site is for adults arranging equipment rentals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, call us and we will delete it.

Your Choices

• Access or correct the information we hold about you.
• Delete your information, unless we need to keep it for an active rental, a dispute, or the law requires it.
• Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. See our Text Message Terms.
• Stop emails by asking us. We send transactional emails about your booking only; we do not run a marketing list.
